Sevilla, Spain is a beautiful city by any standard, with a rich history, stunning architecture, and amazing people. One of my favorite places is the Alcázar, an old Moorish fortress, which is a stone’s throw from the huge gothic cathedral of Sevilla. “Fortress” might be a misleading name, as the Alcázar has an intricately decorated palace and lush gardens. One of the many plants featured in the gardens are the large and spectacular brugmansia flowers, which is featured in this photo.
